About Pamela Blake MD

Dr. Blake is a board-certified neurologist in Houston, Texas.  She graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and completed a residency in Neurology at Georgetown University Hospital.  Dr. Blake then completed a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Dr. Blake is subspecialty board-certified in Headache Medicine by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties, and she has practiced Headache Medicine since 1999.  Dr. Blake has been involved in seminal studies of the role of compression of the superficial nerves of the skull as a cause of refractory headache, and she has extensive experience in the medical and surgical treatment of this condition. Dr. Blake is a fellow of the American Headache Society. She serves as the Medical Director of the Headache Center of River Oaks in Houston, and recently founded headacheMD to impact positively more patients around the world.
